"Best kicking instructor in football." "The best program of its kind in the country." "The most knowledgable program in the punting and kicking field that I
have ever encountered." "Ray and Rob Pelfrey's multifaceted kicking service is the one I recommend
to free agents attempting to make it at the professional level, college and
high school players , and beginners that are trying to improve themselves. Their
service has been a positive influence on all levels of competition, nationwide,
because of their attention to detail in teaching fundamentals and techniques." "Pelfrey is to kicking and punting what Ted Williams is to swinging a
baseball bat"
Coach Pelfrey, During Tanner's senior year he set the school record for the longest field goal 51 yards, he also had 6 punts over 50 yards and 2 punts over 60 yards. It was amazing to watch him in pregame warm ups when he would punt out of the back of the end zone and punt the ball into the other teams warm up. Many coaches from the opposing teams would come over and talk to him and tell him that he had a strong leg. He would always respond that Coach Pelfrey from Reno really helped him with his ball striking techniques. We want to thank you and hoping to attend some camps to help him get even better throughout his college career. Tanner Collins Father Dear Rob and PKS, I now have the opportunity to go to PKS Camps throughout the US. I also spent a weekend in Nevada for private coaching with Rob. My parents and I recently returned from the camp at the University of Oklahoma, where I worked on all aspects of my kicking game. At that camp Rob had me working on kicking off a one inch tee on the 35 yard line; my kick offs were still consistantly in the end zone. My field goal range is 60 yards and my punts improved with Rob's coaching expertise where I was booming some 50s! Rob has been incredibly supportive and there is no doubt in my mind that I am getting the best coaching available. Thanks to Rob and all the PKS staff! Brody McKnight, Grad 2007 Dear Coach Pelfrey, None of this, and I mean NONE of this, would have been possible without Rob Pelfrey. Rob took a raw, inconsistent 9th grader five years ago and molded him into the Kicker/Punter he is today. The Head Coach at ISU said that he looked at 50 Kicker/Punters throughout the U.S. before deciding on Danny. (The present Punter for the Minnesota Vikings was the ISU punter just 2 years ago.) Plus, that particular Head Coach chooses to be his own kicking coach, so he knows something about kicking footballs. One of the most important pieces of advice that Rob ever gave Danny was to develop his PUNTING skills, as well as his kicking skills. While Danny will do both at ISU, there is no doubt that he would not have received a scholarship if he could not punt well, as well as kick. As Rob said years ago, the colleges have a tougher time finding good Punters than good Kickers. THANK YOU ROB PELFREY! NO ONE KNOWS THE ART AND SCIENCE OF KICKING FOOTBALLS AS MUCH AS YOU, AND NO ONE CAN TEACH IT TO OTHERS AS WELL AS YOU. Dan Zeidman Dear Coach Pelfrey, The Sines Family Dear Coach Pelfrey, I am currently the NCAA Division 1AA Active Career Leader in Field Goal Percentage at 81.82%. I have been named the Gateway Player of the Week three times in the past two years, being the first player in league history to be named Player of the Week two weeks in a row in their first two collegiate games. I finished my freshman year with 22-23 PATs and 13-15 FGs with a long of 49 yards, while making 100% under 40 yards. My sophomore season I was named Preseason All-Gateway Honorable Mention and was named the Gateway Player of the Week and the Sports Network National Division 1AA Player of the Week in a win over Youngstown State in which I made my third field goal of the game with no time left on the clock for a 22-20 win. I led the team with 82 points for the season, made 41 of 43 PATs and 14 of 18 field goals for 8.2 points per game. I was assigned kickoff duties midway through the season and averaged 62.8 yards with 17 touchbacks. Sincerely, After private lessons... Dear Ray and Rob, David Toyota, Father
"...Do I recommend PKS? Without hesitation! There is NO alternative!" Mr. Ray Pelfrey, Michael had never had any formal football instruction. All his coaches could tell him was to "keep your head down and follow through with your leg." While he performed very well, it was obvious he would need much more technical training if he were going to compete for a college scholarship. He attended several D1-A college summer football camps that advertised "kicking instruction." While there was some limited instruction, most of the time was spent competing for longest-kick honors. Then, a suggestion was made that if my son was serious about kicking at the college level, I should look into Ray Pelfrey's PKS, Professional Kicking Services. After some research, I discovered that not only was PKS considered the premiere kicker training program in the country for college AND professional kickers, but that Sports Illustrated had described PKS as the "... only program of it's kind in the world,... providing the highest level of technical training." In the 10 months that Coach Pelfrey has been working with my son, he has gone from being a very raw kicker with a strong leg, to an accomplished specialist who relies on increasing knowledge of proper technique,... a clear understanding of PKS's "kicking physics... and Coach Pelfrey's proven training routines." Mr. Ziifle's son is currently on football scholarship and the starting punter and kickoff man at the University of Alabama. Dear Mr. Rob Pelfrey, PKS Camper Parents Greetings,
Former PKS Camper Pierre Des Champs and his family visited us this past winter. Pierre's wife is originally from Sparks, Nevada. Like their dad, Pierre's two sons are also Kickers.
Josh Brockhaus, former PKS Camper and 1982 Reno Pro Kicker returns to camp with sons and family in 2004. Josh, third from right. with son, Jason and wife, Katherine. Third from left, son Justin. Far left, family friends Duane and Margaret. Josh was an outstanding kicker and has done a great job with his sons, both of whom are kicking above their grade and age levels. Baby brothers, future PKS stars, Jett and Jagger.
Kicking Shoes... Dear Coach Pelfrey, I am ordering my third shoe for my personal use and for teaching others how to use it. I am an assistant football coach at Wilmington College, Wilmington, Ohio. What a difference maker the shoe is. I loved kicking with it as a player and now I enjoy teaching athletes how to use the Super Impactor successfully. Thank You, Dear PKS, Sincerely, PKS, D. Sellers, Rockford college Dear Ray, We appreciate the time that both you and Rob have spent with Scott these last two years, We will keep you posted as the season progresses on his results. Steve Cannon, Father When my son Jordan first used the Super Impactor shoe we notice a major improvement in accuracy. For over two years he kicked with the Bullseye shoe but the Super Impactor was truly outstanding. After Jordan did his warm ups and moved back to the forty yard line we noticed that he wasn't missing any field goals, then he thought "wow," I'm kicking against a fairly strong wind and haven't missed a one. Then Jordan moved back to the fifty yard not expecting to get them through because of wind, but to our amazement all five of them were half way up the post. We weren't too sure just exactly what was going on, then we both looked down and realized this is the first time he used the Super Impactor instead of the Bullseye. Having kicked a number of sixty yard field goals last year and missed a fifty five yard field goal in a game at the top of the post by one foot with the Bullseye shoe will be a thing of the past with the new Super Impactor. Art Baker, Coach/Father Leg Lock Bags... Dear Ray, Henry Garrigus Dear Coach Pelfrey, He also believes that your Leg Lock Bag helped his skills greatly over the winter. He practiced several days a week with the bag when he was unable to kick outdoors due to the weather. He has continued to use the bag while now practicing outdoors. He is looking forward to your camp this summer and will also be attending your senior camp in the winter. Having attended several camps in the last two years (one by an NFL player) he most definitely deems yours the best. Thank you very much for providing the opportunity for him to improve his skills immensely. Ann and Alex NobileDear Coach Pelfrey, Our son went to formal kicking try outs (kicking from pre-selected places on the field by the coach) and without kicking for three months, he kicked 14 of 15 field goals, including 45, 50 and 53 yard FGs. He was even surprised. Our son then went to another university for another formal tryout during their spring training. He walked into a kicking drill with their offense and defense teams and kicked 15 for 15 field goals, with 1 50-yard FG and 3 45-yard field goals in a row. All of the kickoffs are hitting mid-way in the end zone from the 35 yard line. Our son is hitting the bag everyday now. His goal is to put the ball out of the end zone by fall. Chris Blasquez Dear Coach Pelfrey, I think Nick will now be able to move to a new level with his punting due the amazing improvement since getting the leg lock unit. Thank you again for your advice and expertise. Bob Maxwell I want to take the time to thank both of you for helping me improve my punting game. Although I have had little college experience and pushing 30 years of age I think that I have a good shot at the NFL. Your training is the absolute best.. I was hitting the ball in the 40 yard range and now am hitting it 65 to 70 yards.. I am looking forward to your Free Agent camp next year and plan on being a top performer.. I am one of those guys that puts 100% in whatever I do and I plan on making it happen.. I have been locking my leg on the Leg Lock Bag and have seen unbelievable results. The bag is second to none in muscle memory preparation. I am positive that the Leg Lock Bag is the break through in getting punters at all levels to perform there best.. Joshua W. Clauer, PKS Camper Coach Pelfrey, Dear Mr. Rob Pelfrey, PKS Camper Training Videos and Other Aids... Coach Pelfrey, Regards, Giovanni is a player attending the Defense Dept. American High School in Seoul, South Korea. Coach Pelfrey, Thanks, |
