Coach Pelfrey,
Tanner and I would like to thank you for your camps and the private lesson that we attended last March. Because of your instruction and inspiration, Tanner was able to take his athletic ability and your techniques, and instruction that was provided you and land a Punting Scholarship at Glenville State College.

During Tanner's senior year he set the school record for the longest field goal 51 yards, he also had 6 punts over 50 yards and 2 punts over 60 yards. It was amazing to watch him in pregame warm ups when he would punt out of the back of the end zone and punt the ball into the other teams warm up. Many coaches from the opposing teams would come over and talk to him and tell him that he had a strong leg. He would always respond that Coach Pelfrey from Reno really helped him with his ball striking techniques.

We want to thank you and hoping to attend some camps to help him get even better throughout his college career.

Tanner Collins Father

Dear Rob and PKS,
Just want to thank you for so far an incredible experience! I live in Canada and a football coach in Vancouver suggested that I attend one of the Pelfrey camps because he said they are long established and have a proven track record in improving kicker's potential. I went to my first camp at the University of Oregon in May. Rob made a few coaching corrections on the first morning, and my kicking had improved tremendously by lunch time that same day. My parents were so impressed with the Rob and the PKS Camp that they enrolled me in the Elite Program.

I now have the opportunity to go to PKS Camps throughout the US. I also spent a weekend in Nevada for private coaching with Rob. My parents and I recently returned from the camp at the University of Oklahoma, where I worked on all aspects of my kicking game. At that camp Rob had me working on kicking off a one inch tee on the 35 yard line; my kick offs were still consistantly in the end zone. My field goal range is 60 yards and my punts improved with Rob's coaching expertise where I was booming some 50s!

Rob has been incredibly supportive and there is no doubt in my mind that I am getting the best coaching available. Thanks to Rob and all the PKS staff!

Dear Coach Pelfrey,
My son, Danny Zeidman, just received a full football scholarship to Idaho State University (ISU) 2 weeks ago. He played one year of junior college, and now he has 3 years left of eligibility at ISU.

None of this, and I mean NONE of this, would have been possible without Rob Pelfrey. Rob took a raw, inconsistent 9th grader five years ago and molded him into the Kicker/Punter he is today. The Head Coach at ISU said that he looked at 50 Kicker/Punters throughout the U.S. before deciding on Danny. (The present Punter for the Minnesota Vikings was the ISU punter just 2 years ago.) Plus, that particular Head Coach chooses to be his own kicking coach, so he knows something about kicking footballs.

One of the most important pieces of advice that Rob ever gave Danny was to develop his PUNTING skills, as well as his kicking skills. While Danny will do both at ISU, there is no doubt that he would not have received a scholarship if he could not punt well, as well as kick. As Rob said years ago, the colleges have a tougher time finding good Punters than good Kickers.

THANK YOU ROB PELFREY!

NO ONE KNOWS THE ART AND SCIENCE OF KICKING FOOTBALLS AS MUCH AS YOU, AND NO ONE CAN TEACH IT TO OTHERS AS WELL AS YOU.

Dan Zeidman
El Cajon, CA

Dear Coach Pelfrey,
Tommy Sines of Smithville, Ohio, will attend Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio, this fall and will participate in their football program. Tommy is a three-time PKS camp participant. PKS has been very beneficial in improving Tommy's kicking and punting during his high school career and in preparing him for college football. Tommy and his family send their thanks to Ray, Rob and their staff for all they have done.

Dear Coach Pelfrey,
My name is Brian Wingert and I am one of your former campers at the Ray Pelfrey Private Camp held at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. I have attended your map for two years and can attest to the positive influence the camp has had on my kicking abilities. I am a sophomore Placekicker for the University of Northern Iowa where I handle the placekicking duties as well as kickoffs.

I am currently the NCAA Division 1AA Active Career Leader in Field Goal Percentage at 81.82%. I have been named the Gateway Player of the Week three times in the past two years, being the first player in league history to be named Player of the Week two weeks in a row in their first two collegiate games. I finished my freshman year with 22-23 PATs and 13-15 FGs with a long of 49 yards, while making 100% under 40 yards. My sophomore season I was named Preseason All-Gateway Honorable Mention and was named the Gateway Player of the Week and the Sports Network National Division 1AA Player of the Week in a win over Youngstown State in which I made my third field goal of the game with no time left on the clock for a 22-20 win. I led the team with 82 points for the season, made 41 of 43 PATs and 14 of 18 field goals for 8.2 points per game. I was assigned kickoff duties midway through the season and averaged 62.8 yards with 17 touchbacks.

Sincerely,
Brian Wingert

After private lessons...

Dear Ray and Rob,
Thank you for the private lesson in Reno. The cross over technique is great and improved Shearton's lean off and he is no longer undercutting the ball. The Plant Master is working fine. His accuracy has improved and his hits and trajectory, on most balls, is great. Thanks again for the session.

"...Do I recommend PKS? Without hesitation! There is NO alternative!"
Mr. Bob Ziifle, PKS Camper Father

Mr. Ray Pelfrey,
My son was a life-long soccer player, with D1-A scholarship talent. He was recruited in his senior year of high school to do the place-kicking and punting for his high school football team.

Michael had never had any formal football instruction. All his coaches could tell him was to "keep your head down and follow through with your leg." While he performed very well, it was obvious he would need much more technical training if he were going to compete for a college scholarship.

He attended several D1-A college summer football camps that advertised "kicking instruction." While there was some limited instruction, most of the time was spent competing for longest-kick honors. Then, a suggestion was made that if my son was serious about kicking at the college level, I should look into Ray Pelfrey's PKS, Professional Kicking Services.

After some research, I discovered that not only was PKS considered the premiere kicker training program in the country for college AND professional kickers, but that Sports Illustrated had described PKS as the "... only program of it's kind in the world,... providing the highest level of technical training."

In the 10 months that Coach Pelfrey has been working with my son, he has gone from being a very raw kicker with a strong leg, to an accomplished specialist who relies on increasing knowledge of proper technique,... a clear understanding of PKS's "kicking physics... and Coach Pelfrey's proven training routines."

Mr. Ziifle's son is currently on football scholarship and the starting punter and kickoff man at the University of Alabama.

Dear Mr. Rob Pelfrey,
Since the last time I have written to you, Max Schuster has not been able to cool off. As of Friday October 4th, Max Schuster has to be one of the top kickers in the state of Texas. Standing at only 5'6", 135lbs, he has 46 points ( 28/29 PATS, and 6/9 Field goals 20,22,22,34,42,46). The camp has been a blessing not only for Max, but for us, his parents, and the community.

PKS Camper Parents

Greetings,
Thought you would want to know that an alumni of PKS in 1999, Sean Lipscomb (he attended camps at Willamette University and Puget Sound, and a private session in Sparks, Nevada) set the NCAA DIII record for longest punt with a 93 yarder against Pomona-Pitzer this past Saturday. Sean kicks and punts for University of Redlands. Coach Mike Maynard has submitted the data to the NCAA for inclusion into the record books. Sean has been the starting Kicker and Punter for all 4 years, holds every major record at the school, was an Honorable Mention All-American in 2000. He has been ranked in both categories all 4 years. Currently he is 5th in punting and 12 in field goals nationally. He still talks about his PKS experience, especially the private session in Sparks.

Former PKS Camper Pierre Des Champs and his family visited us this past winter. Pierre's wife is originally from Sparks, Nevada. Like their dad, Pierre's two sons are also Kickers.

Josh Brockhaus, former PKS Camper and 1982 Reno Pro Kicker returns to camp with sons and family in 2004. Josh, third from right. with son, Jason and wife, Katherine. Third from left, son Justin. Far left, family friends Duane and Margaret.

Josh was an outstanding kicker and has done a great job with his sons, both of whom are kicking above their grade and age levels. Baby brothers, future PKS stars, Jett and Jagger.

Kicking Shoes...

Dear Coach Pelfrey,
This will be my third Super Impactor. I kicked with my first at Granville High School, Granville, Ohio and with my second at Wabash College (Crawfordsville, Indiana). My collegiate Super Impactor is currently located within the NCAA Hall of Champions in Indianapolis, IN.

I am ordering my third shoe for my personal use and for teaching others how to use it. I am an assistant football coach at Wilmington College, Wilmington, Ohio. What a difference maker the shoe is. I loved kicking with it as a player and now I enjoy teaching athletes how to use the Super Impactor successfully.

Thank You,
Coach Olmy Olmstead, Wilmington College

Dear PKS,
I was issued the PKS Bullseye Kicking Shoe my junior year of high school. I'm currently a junior in college, and I am now trying out at the D1 level. I used to play D1AA Midmajor. This kicking shoe is in almost its 6th year of use, and is still going strong. Not only that, it has been kicked all-year around in various conditions. I never thought a kicking shoe could last that long in those conditions!

Sincerely,
Eric Fontana

PKS,
Wanted to thank you for my Super Impactor. This shoe is incredible! It's done everything I had hoped for. I have improved both my accuracy and distance greatly.

D. Sellers, Rockford college

Dear Ray,
Thank you for taking the time to help our son, Scott, with his kicking shoes on our recent trip to Reno. Scott felt that the time he spent with you was very valuable. I would like to tell you how pleased we are with the quality and the results of the shoes that we have purchased from you. In particular, the "Plant Master" that Rob fit Scott for last year. It has proven to be a tremendous benefit. He saw improved results in his kick-offs. His 1999 statistics showed that almost 50% of his kick-offs resulted in touchbacks.

We appreciate the time that both you and Rob have spent with Scott these last two years, We will keep you posted as the season progresses on his results.

Steve Cannon, Father

When my son Jordan first used the Super Impactor shoe we notice a major improvement in accuracy. For over two years he kicked with the Bullseye shoe but the Super Impactor was truly outstanding. After Jordan did his warm ups and moved back to the forty yard line we noticed that he wasn't missing any field goals, then he thought "wow," I'm kicking against a fairly strong wind and haven't missed a one. Then Jordan moved back to the fifty yard not expecting to get them through because of wind, but to our amazement all five of them were half way up the post. We weren't too sure just exactly what was going on, then we both looked down and realized this is the first time he used the Super Impactor instead of the Bullseye. Having kicked a number of sixty yard field goals last year and missed a fifty five yard field goal in a game at the top of the post by one foot with the Bullseye shoe will be a thing of the past with the new Super Impactor.

Leg Lock Bags...

Dear Ray,
My son Lucas has attended your kicking camps for the past two years. My son's kicking and punting abilities have improved each time we were at your camps. His hard work and determination payed off for his senior year of high school by being selected as Punter of the Year in the M.V.C. conference and 1st Team All Area in Dubuque, Iowa. After purchasing your Leg Lock Bag for Punting and the Power Unit for Punters his performance in punting distance has increased 10 to 15 yards, and his kick off distance has increased 15 yards. I know with him entering college now he will be a big assest to the kicking game. Thanks again Ray for all your teachings.

Henry Garrigus

Dear Coach Pelfrey,
I wanted to let you know how valuable your camp proved to be last summer for my son A.J. Nobile. He had a great season this past year and we believe he owes it all to you. The camp helped him improve his skills tremendously. He is very fortunate to be in the position of being recruited by many different schools. They are mostly Division 1 AA, although there are a few Division l A.

He also believes that your Leg Lock Bag helped his skills greatly over the winter. He practiced several days a week with the bag when he was unable to kick outdoors due to the weather. He has continued to use the bag while now practicing outdoors. He is looking forward to your camp this summer and will also be attending your senior camp in the winter. Having attended several camps in the last two years (one by an NFL player) he most definitely deems yours the best.

Thank you very much for providing the opportunity for him to improve his skills immensely.

Ann and Alex Nobile

Dear Coach Pelfrey,
Well I have to say - when we bought your Leg Lock Bag, I was a bit skeptical about whether or not it would work. We recently moved to the east coast and we have had bad weather in Maine. Our son has had try outs at 6 schools, but did not have an opportunity to kick through goal posts (too much snow and no place to kick inside). He hit the leg lock bag all winter and that is all he did.

Our son went to formal kicking try outs (kicking from pre-selected places on the field by the coach) and without kicking for three months, he kicked 14 of 15 field goals, including 45, 50 and 53 yard FGs. He was even surprised. Our son then went to another university for another formal tryout during their spring training. He walked into a kicking drill with their offense and defense teams and kicked 15 for 15 field goals, with 1 50-yard FG and 3 45-yard field goals in a row.

All of the kickoffs are hitting mid-way in the end zone from the 35 yard line. Our son is hitting the bag everyday now. His goal is to put the ball out of the end zone by fall.

Dear Coach Pelfrey,
I wanted to let you know that since purchasing your Punting Leg Lock Bag, my son Nick has improved his punting dramatically. He has been doing 4 to 5 sets of 20 reps each, daily, per your suggestion since January, along with the stepping patterns and drop drills learned at camp. We began to notice an amazing difference after only a week or two using the leg lock unit. Within the first month, we saw a 4 yard gain in distance and better hang times. Three months later the distance gain shot up to 8 yards per punt!

I think Nick will now be able to move to a new level with his punting due the amazing improvement since getting the leg lock unit.

Thank you again for your advice and expertise.

Bob Maxwell

I want to take the time to thank both of you for helping me improve my punting game. Although I have had little college experience and pushing 30 years of age I think that I have a good shot at the NFL. Your training is the absolute best.. I was hitting the ball in the 40 yard range and now am hitting it 65 to 70 yards.. I am looking forward to your Free Agent camp next year and plan on being a top performer.. I am one of those guys that puts 100% in whatever I do and I plan on making it happen..

I have been locking my leg on the Leg Lock Bag and have seen unbelievable results. The bag is second to none in muscle memory preparation. I am positive that the Leg Lock Bag is the break through in getting punters at all levels to perform there best..

Coach Pelfrey,
I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you that Jessup started his senior year as Colorado's All State selection his junior year. He has progressed with his kick offs from the goal line (junior season) to the back of the end zone or thru it (senior season). I believe the power lock speed bag (Leg Lock Bag) has helped tremendously in this accomplishment. He hit a state record of 14 field goals in a season and was 14/16 with 6 at 40+ yds. His career so far: 59/62 PATs and 22/27 FGs.

Mr. Pfeifer, Father

Dear Mr. Rob Pelfrey,
I attended the camp that was held at Central Connecticut State University. I am writing to you to share the amazing improvements in my kicking and punting game since attending your camp. I have been working at the Leg Lock Bag and have been doing all of the drills you shared with me at the camp religiously everyday and will continue to do so. My coach is ecstatic with my capabilities. I put one through the uprights on a kick off yesterday and I thought he was gonna pass out. The distance and trajectory on my placekicking and punting has also increased drastically. Thank you for your time, I am looking forward to working again with you in the future.

Training Videos and Other Aids...

Coach Pelfrey,
When I first made the decision to be a kicker in football, my Dad purchased one of your training videos. This video really helped me with my form and understanding of this important position. Thank you very much for your help.

Regards,
Giovanni Rosa

Giovanni is a player attending the Defense Dept. American High School in Seoul, South Korea.

Coach Pelfrey,
I just placed an order for the Stepping Pattern Mat for Placekickers and I just want to say that all your products have helped me in some way.

Thanks,
Theo Whittington
