Private Lessons

The sooner a young kicker starts with sound fundamentals the quicker he will realize his full potential. Private Lessons (one-on-one) are available in the Sparks/Reno, Nevada area from August 15th through May 15th of each year. Lessons are with coaches Ray or Rob Pelfrey.

Allow 3 days for the PKS Private Lessons, including one day for travel. Lessons are held in the mornings on day 1 and day 2, with departure during the evening of the second lesson day (if desired). One or both parents usually attend the lessons with the player. If parents do not accompany the player, transportation will be provided to and from the practice area.

The Reno/Sparks area is a designated recreational area, with spectacular Lake Tahoe. The lake is only a 45 minute drive from Reno. Hotel reservations can be made at the Circus-Circus hotel or the Truckee River Lodge, both with modest rates. Special discounted rates are also available through most travel agencies for major hotels in the Reno area.

Players attending PKS Private Lesson sessions receive a special registration discount on future summer camps, with the exception of PKS Scholarship Developmental Camps.

We do not guarantee that you will achieve these goals, but we do guarantee immediate improvement in all the basic skills in Punting and Placekicking through PKS's exclusive modern day Punting and American Wedge™ Placekicking Techniques.

No coach, player, or parent who has attended any of our Private Lesson sessions have ever been disappointed in the quality of the results. All sessions include numerous, intensive film studies and analysis in high-speed, stop action mode with immediate review and on-the-field corrections. All film taken of the player during his lesson, along with all the drills, coaching points, etc. are provided to the player at the end of the last session.
