Craig Hutchinson, of The Sydney Morning Herald, reports the New York Jets have signed Punter Ben Graham to a long-term contract. The deal is a six-year, $5.17 million contract. Graham decided to sign a long-term deal, which includes bonuses and incentives. "I'm just excited that I'm going to be punting for the New York Jets in the best city in America for the next six years," said Graham.

Canadian Football League - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers obtained PKS star Jon Ryan with their 3rd Round (24th Overall) pick in the 2004 Canadian College Draft, held via teleconference call from the CFL’s head office in Toronto, Apr. 28, 2004.
Last season Jon finished 2nd in the CFL with a 43.2 yards average. This year he is off to a great start, leading the CFL with a 52.6 yard gross average and a 42.6 yard net factor!
