About PKS - Who We Are

Professional Kicking Services, Inc. is football's leading developer of college-level scholarship talent at all levels. PKS is the largest and only full-time kicking educational program, providing training for Pro Free Agents, college, and high school Kickers and Punters. In the past six years, 18 out of 20 PKS program players have been honored as US TODAY All-Americans. Our specialty kicking and punting shoes represent years of research and design. PKS patented products and coaching tools are impacting the kicking game across the nation, at every level.

Our History

Mid 1970s

Developed new techniques for soccer-style Placekickers: American Soccer-style Punting and Kicking Techniques™. Took the hook out of soccer-style kicking, adding 10-15 yards on average to a kicker's range. Made 50+ field goals common place at the high school level.

Designed and used the first sideline kicking net in an NFL football game for the New Orleans Saints. Punter was Tom McNeil; Head Coach, Tom Fears.

Mid 1980s

Developed All-Pro Punting Techniques™, which placed and trained a 1st team All-Pro in the first year of technique introduction. This technique has had a major impact at the high school, college and pro levels for consistency, hang time, and gross.

Early 1990s

Developed and introduced the American Wedge™ technique, which exploded kicking off-the-ground results for ball height, accuracy, and distance. The collegiate and NFL Kickers who train in this style are among the most accurate kickers in football.

Mid 1990s

Punting: developed new balance stepping pattern which completely eliminated the "ground cross-over" for Punters. This pattern also shortened both the first and second steps resulting in faster get-off times and improved hang times due to a higher ball-foot contact point, and a cleaner, more consistent follow through pattern.

1999-2000

Created Leg-lock Units (bags) for both kicking and punting. These bags, used in a daily leg-lock repetition program, develop superior muscle leg-lock memory which produces exceptional kicking and punting results.
