Dave Toub, of the Chicago Bears, was named the 2006 Special Teams Coach of the Year in Reno, Nevada. The award is presented annually by Professional Kicking Services, Inc. in conjunction with their Free Agent punters and kickers field try out session attended by NFL Special teams coaches and NFL scouts. May 15, 2007: New England Patriots-allocated punter Danny Baugher is Special Teams Player of Week 5 after his outstanding display during the Rhein Fire's defeat of the Frankfurt Galaxy. Baugher averaged 45.2 yards on five punts with a long of 51 yards. He also dropped two kicks inside Frankfurt's 20-yard line. He currently ranks second among NFLE punters this season with an average of 42.5 yards on 23 kicks with a long of 59 yards and nine kicks inside the opponent's 20-yard line.
